What We Do
Sam Montoya is a Neuroscience PhD Candidate at the University of Minnesota where she researches vision. She received her BA in Neuroscience and Studio Art from Kenyon College in 2019. Combining science and art can spread understanding of current research and awareness of important social issues and their relation to science. Sam's neuroscience-inspired artwork includes hand-carved linoleum printed stationary, bookmarks, and tea towels, as well as paintings, embroidery, and artist books.
