What We Do
Michele Banks (aka Artologica) is an artist inspired by the brain. Her watercolor and ink paintings use the visual vocabulary of neuroscience to explore ideas of memory and consciousness. Her work has been exhibited at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and featured on the covers of journals and books and in publications including Scientific American, The Scientist and Wired.
